and place their virtual memory in cyberspace forever. RIPVIRTUAL can be used to create beautiful customised memories celebrating a lifetime. RIPVIRTUAL can also be used to create virtual roadside memorials by using background images of your memorial or Google maps.

Death is often associated with negative connotations such as loss, sadness and misery. Others choose to put a positive spin on such an event via reflecting, paying tribute or engaging in the celebration of a life. Traditionally, such events were memorialized via tombstones, funerals, anniversaries or holidays. The digital world has finally caught up. There is an app for that. RIP Virtual by Brian Goodwin enterprises allows you to create virtual memories to memorialize loved ones, friends, celebrities or even pets via creating online custom memorials using your iOS or other device!

The startup screen contains new graphics with icons underneath which allow RIPVIRTUAL customers to create new memorials and view, share and edit their existing memorials. Tapping the Facebook, twitter or instagram icon brings you to the page where you can post/share finished memorials, as well as view and comment on others. Edited/add privileges are allowed/denied in app to app sharing. Also share memorials on Facebook, twitter and instagram OR app to app and allow/deny editing privileges for friends and family.

Creating a Memorial is straight forward. The developer has taken great care in creating a simple and intuitive interface. Once you tap “Tap To Create New Site”, you are prompted to enter in the name of the person. This is followed by fields to enter in the lifespan. From there you can upload a portrait from the gallery on your device. You then can select a “frame” to surround your Portrait. You then can select the plaque type (This includes choices from wood grain finishes to Metallic or marble, Nice touch !)

After selecting the plaque, you may then select a background image in app or from your gallery. Finally, you complete your memorial by uploading images to the photo album or add optional video and then clicking “submit”.

The ability to add video is a nice touch. Perhaps you may want to memorialize the individual by showing them at their best or in their prime.

Another nice feature is the guestbook. When browsing through different memorials on the RIP Virtual Server, friends, families or other individuals may pay their respect by commenting in the guest book or adding photos. RIPVIRTUAL users can allow editing or deny editing privileges to ensure privacy. This is a great way to ensure only appropriate content ends up being presented, or that only selected individuals have access.

Free "Gift shop" lets you place "gifts" on individual memorials and categories include florist, cards, headstones, fluffy toys, pets accessories etc. Seasonal themes are regularly updated.
